Dr. Bellairs grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. His education at Pritzker was characterized by a rigorous curriculum that emphasized critical thinking, evidence-based medicine, and compassionate patient care.
Following medical school, Dr. Bellairs pursued a seven-year residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington, one of the nation’s leading programs in the specialty. Here, he trained under the mentorship of some of the most respected and innovative surgeons in otolaryngology. The University of Washington’s residency program is known for its comprehensive and demanding training, which provided Dr. Bellairs with in-depth experience in both the surgical and non-surgical management of ENT conditions. Throughout his residency, Dr. Bellairs honed advanced surgical skills in complex head and neck procedures, sinus and nasal surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. He also gained expertise in the latest minimally invasive techniques and technologies, allowing him to offer his patients cutting-edge care.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Bellairs enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the beautiful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. He met his wife, Jordie, during their time at Colby College, and together they chase around their three-year-old daughter and goofball golden retriever. Whether it’s boating on Lake Washington, skiing down the slopes of Crystal Mountain, or exploring the rugged Washington coast, the Bellairs family embraces the natural beauty of the PNW.
