Trista Smith, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA, is a clinical audiologist at Surgical Associates Northwest. She is dedicated to serving patients throughout the Puget Sound region, offering comprehensive audiologic care at both the Auburn and Federal Way locations.
Education & Professional Credentials
Trista earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in business. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Washington, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Clinical Focus & Patient Philosophy
Trista’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of hearing loss; hearing aid evaluations and fittings; cochlear implant evaluations and programming; vestibular assessment and diagnostics; implantable bone-anchored hearing systems; cerumen management; and tinnitus management. Trista is committed to providing patient-centered care and believes in meeting individuals wherever they are in their hearing journey, tailoring her approach to support each patient’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of audiology, Trista enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband, Taylor; playing board games with friends; and, on rainy days, relaxing at home with a good book, a warm cup of coffee, and her two cats, Ebony and Hades.
