Dr. Stern is very pleased to have joined Surgical Associates Northwest in 2007. Dr. Stern graduated from The Johns Hopkins University as one of the top students in his class. He then earned his medical degree with honors from the New York University School of Medicine after completing a fellowship at the University of California – San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Stern completed his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgical residency at the Univeristy of Washington. He also earned his Master of Public Health degree at the UW School of Public Health.

Dr. Stern now serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Washington, within the department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Stern is looking forward to being a part of the community for many years to come. He has long worked with the pediatric population in and out of the hospital and is comfortable with all aspects of pediatric ENT after training at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center. He continues serve on the clinical faculty at the University of Washington and teaches otolaryngology residents how to complete complex surgical cases ranging from revision endoscopic surgery to oncological resections of the neck, thyroid, and parotid gland. Dr. Stern has special interest in advanced sinus surgery.

Dr. Stern met his wife, Jamie, during their first year of college and was married a few years later. They have a daughter born in 2003 and a son born in 2009. When he is not working, teaching, or with his family, Dr. Stern can usually be found playing softball or catching up on major league baseball.
